Thanks to my wife and a new flip video camera, I finally got footage of my ekos on 4s, feigao 380-9xl's, turnigy 120's, cf-40 props, gps'd @ 57.7mph thanks to Jeff Wohlts wire drives!

They can absolutely handle 4s. I never run the motors long enough to get dangerously hot. Any fast electric setup will overheat if its overpropped and run for too long. 40mm props are a little big for the 380 sized cans, 32mm props are ideal in my opinion for the ekos. Far less heat from the motors but still enough prop to get the ekos into the upper 40mph range.Comment
