Das Boot on 3s- With Ducks!

I managed to get some footage out of my water damaged Turnigy mini cam. Das Boot is a generic 32" twin cat running on generic air cooled 60a ESC's and $20 2200Kv outrunners on tiny 3000mah 20c 3s Flightmax packs turning a pair of K40's using Jeff Wohlt wire drives. It's the cheapest build I could come up with and right now does about 36 mph, but is working it's way up.

    Enjoy!

      Thanks!

I'm actually working on one cheaper, if this V-Tail mixer thing works, there'll be no need for a rudder or servo!

              Thanks Jeff!

The wire drives are awesome. Makes me wonder why anyone uses cables.

              (Props are K40 L & R rotating inward)

LMAO, yeah, the cam keeps resetting and every time you turn it on/off you need to drop a TAG.txt file on the flash drive for it to read and update the time/date.

The problem with this one is, I can only turn it on/off once, then it goes into La la land.

I'm surprised and lucky to get this amount of video from it. (it was completely submerged for 20 minutes or so)
