Good looking rig. Was the video from its maiden tryout? The hull looks like its hopping under acceleration.

        Yep,
that was the maiden voyage, very happy with the result.

Next step will be to blueprint the running surfaces, then paint job.

        Cheers..Tim.

An impressive boat, and great results for a maiden outing. The hopping wasn't bad, had you been running on larger water and eased into the throttle it probably wouldn't have been noticed. That's a lot of Kv, I'd have gone for less rpm and more pitch myself, but your results speak for themselves.

Wish now that I'd hooked up with you guys when I spent 6 weeks in Melbourne last June/July.....

nice boat, very fast! I have a question though can you guys corner at higher speeds or are they just straight line. I have been wanting to build a twin cat but it has to corner fast too.

That's 5,000 more rpm than my 115... I think i'm going to have to run 7s

                what's the temps like??

                  Kris,
that was at the lake in Pakenham.

                  Jeepers,
it probably wont ever corner super fast, but that was the first run, so there is still a fair bit to get used to from a drivers prospective.

                  VVViiVV,
temps were good, cool on the 442's and warm but not hot on the 447's.

                  Cheers...Tim.

the hopping was only on deceleration, it looked like to me
