Any P-Limited dead boats during the race weekend? Convert any B-hydro guys?

There were three dead P-Limited boats in four rounds of racing, there should have been four but I'm saving that information for another post that all JAE 21 FE owners will be interested in. Stay tuned.

There were no B-Hydros in this race, but there was a bunch of interest in the JAE P-Limited Hydros and the P-Limited O/B Tunnels. There were some questions about the P-Limited Sport Hydros as well.
          Who won????
We all won!!!!!!LOL Really, that race was two weeks long and we all survived!!

          P-Limited Hydro
          1st Ken Haines
          2nd Doug Smock
          3rd Louis Bentley
NOTE: Louis is a gas boat racer. The JAE is his first FE boat. His boat hit the water for the first time in the first heat.

Just having fun guys, I love my IC racing counterparts!!

          Thanks Rod!

OK, so what was the final decision on a prop? one that would go well with a UL-1 power setup?

I don't really know.....ask Doug Smock....he has done considerable testing with the
JAE.21FE......[If I recall I believe he said the ABC H-7 was a very good choice]

I still like the H-7 detounged, cupped and pitched up a bit. I'm getting the same speeds with it as I am with the H-10s and S-15s that I've worked and pulling fewer amps. The worked 1450 is ok but not as fast as the H-7.
                  Just my experience FWIW.
I may play around some more but I'm very happy with the way the boat is running.

So Doug, are you using the UL-1 motor in yours or something else? Thanks...

                        I'm running a UL-1 with a pitched up and cupped H-5 (45.2 x 63.5 x 95.3mm) and the motor/electronics are stone cold. What pitch/cup would you recommend if I go to an H-7?
                        I let the dogs out...

Honestly Patrick I have no way of knowing what I ended up with. (no pitch guage)

I detounged a H-7, added some cup to flatten out the roostertail, then added pitch until I saw 63 amps and 57mph on the Eagletree.
I know it's not the most scientific method but it's still working for me LOL
