Finally got a vid of the Vegas !

if this doesn't work, go to youtube, search FE Vegas at Legg Lake.

1515 1Y / Hydra 240 with CC BEC; new Turnigy 4S 5000 30/40 C ; SB & C X642 ; Jeff Wohlt .078 wire drive with ball-bearing strut. Has LOTS more prop to go, but runs so stable in mid-fifties [est.] with no temp issues that I'm leaving the wing on & just getting max grins !

She looks great!! Could not be trimmed better....great work. A little more pitched prop and you will be upper 50s in oval trim!

I'm not sure I'm calculating this correctly, but using Steven's amp draw calculator in the "Tips" section I entered battery consumption [ 2 X 1800 mah ] and 2 minute runtime { the vid ran 2:06 minutes} the average draw was 108 amps. Seems reasonable.

And thanks Guys for the positive feedback !

That's definitely not the way to measure your amps. Get eagle tree v3.

Antron, with all due respect, I was simply answering Mr. Wolf IVs question. I have an EagleTree with all the bells and whistles but would rather use "seat of the pants" impressions. If I can achieve, with my fun runners, speeds that make me
smile with temps so low I don't even bother to pull out the temp gun, and enough runtime to satisfy my desire, I'm good to go. I've learned the hard way not to "push" my setups [except for SAWs]. My oval raceboats are all setup for 6 laps on the 1/6 mile course without overstressing the goodies. Too much data makes my 'Ole head hurt !

Ok I had my boat all set up, with good amps and low temps and then on second run without data logger my motor burns up... Now I can only guess what went wrong without real data.
