    Intro and New Miss Geico

    Hey Folks,
Had a couple boats in the past, but just toys...
Just picked up a new Miss Geico 29 3V.

So far, very happy with this boat.
    Bone stock, I'm running 2x 3s, 5200 50C batteries.
I'm looking for a GPS, no clue on speed? 35? 45? Will post up when I get a GPS.

So, What are the odds... I'm in WPB, FL a few days after I get the boat... and what should I see??? Check it out!!! The real thing!! I bang a U turn a take some quick picks...

and a video at the bottom of the thread...

        Welcome to the forum, Mitch.
Looking good. Take her out to the lake and see what she can really do!

Welcome, Mitch. Go to West Delray Regional Park. http://www.pbcgov.com/parks/location...m#.VqegrFKPbeI. Big lake and a club. Was mostly gas pacers when I lived in the area.

Have the Blackjack 29 and Traxxas Sparta.

                    PapiW,
What time you head out? Definitely like to come out this Sunday.
I went to Markham last weekend. Technically, the RC lake was closed, but I went anyway... but with no rescue boat... a little nervous.

I'm thinking about a Sparta also. I'd love to check yours out.

Hope to see you this Sunday

The club has changed webmasters due to a relocation. The Castaways site in my signature is frozen, but has lots of good pictures. New site is rather bare right now.

I can be out there around 10? The sailing club start at 11. Waiting on a new prop strut for the BJ29, somehow lost the brass bushing, so upgraded it. Be happy to bring the Sparta, though! Heavy winds we've been having will probably prevent letting her rip full blast though. Have enough trouble keeping it from flying in still water :) Put easily adjustable trim tabs on, and that has helped quite a bit though.

I'll send you a PM with my phone #

Zooma: Very nice pics for sure on the castaway web site. What's the new web site address?

Ron1950: I plan on coming up there sometime this year and visiting.

I have put both addresses into my signature. For a while, the new site is primarily for club contacts and for posting club race results. I have missed several races for the flu, so I am behind on points, but we restart on a quarterly basis.

Most of the action photos have been taken by the President of The Villages photo club. And, sometimes he brings trainees with him for practice.
