Like nice. Where did the windshield come from or did you make it yourself?

Thanks guys. Yep made the windshield, I just made a template before pulling the old one off before painting. The silver carbon vinyl gives a different look. Actually there was a metallic blue that really would have popped, but it was interior so I wasn't sure it would last. BTW, anyone notice what else is different?

There is a reason I live where I do. Lots of sunny days, like today again.

You have filled the recess at the centre rear of the hatch.

Bang on! I looked at it and decided it was the ugly bit so changed it before paint. I think the boat looks better for it. Sort of a bit of customising too I guess.

I do the same on pursuits & ospreys, I fill the centre recess & the rear corner recesses to make it nice & flat for better taping of the hatch.

I know this might be a silly question but if I don't ask I'll never know or learn. . . .What is that U shaped wire sticking out to the side? Is that a like a power cut off switch where when you pull it, it cuts power from the batteries? I bought one to install on one of my boats but it's a plug style. Thanks

Hi, yes you are right, the wire is a power cut off. It is a safety (or isolating) loop. They are compulsory under our fe rules, it allows for a boat being rescued to be disabled quickly and easily, as unlike a nitro or gas boat, the prop could start spinning unexpectedly and that might cause harm to an unsuspecting person. The other advantage is that the boat can be taped up and turned on when ready for a race.
