I designed this boat to stay on the water at full "Q" speed. Kiting is a problem in our area because of the sometimes windy conditions. Notice the down slope of the sponson. The blue chine boards take the place of internal stringers that are in most boats today. This provides for a more spacious interior and allows for some non-trip in the stern of the boat. The sponsons non-trip are quite large to give support in the turns. The boat is 40" long (max length) and comes in at 10 pounds R-T-R. It is powered with three two-cell packs. This provides for a more gently-sloping front end. The boat was painted by my brother John.
