    Fibre Glass Spartan

Hey guy's, just finishing off my new Spartan hull and thought id give you all a looksee.
    It's running TP 4050 1800kv motor and V2 180amp SK,
I put the carbon kevlar inlay in for strenght. also added 3mm CF sheet across the transom an a 3mm bulkhead up front.
It had CF scrunched up and pushed into the nose as well.
    RCBB hardware ,3/16 flex shaft , 45mm 1.4p prop.
I'll be testing it out this weekend. Cant wait

Yes m8, was a bit nerves about putting them there. I normally mount water outlets on the top of the hull so there easily seen. But I decided to give these a try.

What did you use to wet the carbon/kevlar inlay with? Epoxy doesn't stick well to ABS, but I've heard Cyno works well.

In the title it says fiberglass Spartan. But then no mention of fiberglass in his post.

I forgot about the title when reading the post, I just assumed that he wouldn't have put an inlay in if he moulded the boat in glass, adding another layer during the moulding process would be less time consuming and could be full length, but you know what they say about assuming.

For some reason I still like the Spartan hull shape.
Exceptional job on the changes buddy!

Do those trim tabs have some play when they are set up?
Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!

It's called Wet Systems Epoxy. Great stuff, ive used it on my Zonda, SilverFox and Genesis with great results.

My tabs had slop but that was long ago.
So that is a replacement hull but made of fiberglass instead of Tupperware? Don't take the Tupperware remark wrong.... Lol

Never mind, I clicked the link...

I know there is a fella in Australia making some very cool hills, I would suspect he would have done this one. Perhaps ask Paul(785boats), or Wayne (Doc), or with luck someone will enlighten us here. You could pose the question in a new thread “hull builder in Australia “
