    Kbb 45

Got my hull today, and have already gotten the KBB drives, motor mounts, rudder, and lipo sleds. Quality seems excellent on everything!SAM_0453.jpgSAM_0454.jpgSAM_0455.jpgSAM_0457.jpgSAM_0456.jpg Waiting on lehner motors, and still deciding on ESC's. I will be learning and accumulating parts over the next month or so, and maybe picking away at a few little tasks, but the real building won't be starting until the ponds freeze here.

Layup is nice, with an extra strip of CF along the seams and some extra glass across the transome/rudder mount, hatch is very solid. Outside seams are very thin and pretty smooth. The drives seem real well made with tight tolerances.

All layed up in the USA too! Pretty sure the drives are made here as well.

I love mine the quality is top notch, it's all together except for paint. I'm gonna run it a couple more times then take it apart for paint. Kevin that green is badass! DSC02694.jpgDSC02538.jpgDSC02666.jpgDSC02549.jpg

Thanks, glad you guys are diggin' the green too. I'll have to find the message, but I think Keith said he can do red, blue, green, and pink(maybe a couple others). I have a red, orange, a blue, and a white boat, and well pink....I'm just not there yet lol (but I guess it would actually look pretty unique), so green it was. The hulls are made to order, at least the colors anyway, not sure about white, but even still it only took less than three weeks to be at my door.

Yeah he is pretty quick, I don't know how many they've done up to this point but mine was the first colored hull they did. It was right at 2 1/2 weeks to my door and he told me they had a couple white hulls ahead of mine when I ordered it.

Hey thanks for the compliments and taking the time to share Kevin!
I have to admit, I like the green a lot more than I thought I would! Are you planning on running it just solid green, or do you have a theme in mind?

Reminds me of the seventies with the "Grabber Green" on the Mopars.

That would be "Sub Lime" for Mopar, the grabber colors were Ford colors "Grabber Blue" "Grabber Yellow" Etc.

No set theme in mind, I will probably keep it pretty simple, just paint a windshield and maybe a few decals for now. I am far more concerned with running my boats, and don't want to have to be super delicate to protect a nice finish. I envy and admire all those sweet paint jobs I see, but it's just not practical for my use/abuse at this point in time, we'll see though, never know how I'll feel about that later in the winter. "More will be revealed", as they say.
