Ok, so i tried both, offset rudder and centered rudder. When trying the offset rudder setup, the boat wasn't stable at all. The transom was going right and left, in a ''S'' pattern. I don't know what caused this. But i also tried the centered setup. This setup was way more stable. I had to add a brace for the rudder mount, in order to stiffen it up.IMG_20141028_103805.jpgIMG_20141028_103832.jpgIMG_20141028_104054.jpgIMG_20141028_104142.jpgIMG_20141028_104214.jpg

I had bad luck while testing my boat this friday. i hit a submerge rock at full speed and i totally destroyed my boat. the boat passed 3 days in the water, and still all the electronic works.IMG_20141102_101026.jpgIMG_20141102_101036.jpgIMG_20141102_101043.jpgIMG_20141102_101050.jpgIMG_20141102_101102.jpgAnd here is the only test i was able to do!

Really sorry that this had happened, hope you will regroup and continue to enjoy FE boats. Hopefully your electronic components can work for your next boat.

I wouldnt run it towards the shore next time as seen in the vid.

Can you buy a bare hull and move all your equipment to it?

I did a little search, but couldn't find anything, so i decided to get a Pursuit from HK and put my stuff in it... But I will miss that little Rio! And who knows, i might get an other one too! And i didn't hit the rock near shore, it was at large(20ft offshore +/-).
