Hi Guys!As you can see from my name,I am from a far far away country called South Africa
I have not searched intensively, but it seems like i am the only 1 representing my Country,so I will do my best.I am a proud owner of a Miss Geico 29 BL 1500Kv boat. This is just a weekend fun toy,as I wanted a R/c boat since i had brains and growing up next to water.I guess the whole hydrodynamics regarding watercraft interests me a bit.Parts & support regarding hardware on boats is problematic,as heli's,airplanes & cars is dominant here. But let me introduce you to my Miss Geico:Stock standard everything exept a polished s/s Proboat prop, running Turnigy 5000 mah 40C Lipo's(2 sets) reaching speeds of up to 30-32 Mph.I still have issues with porpoising(bouncing),but have noticed the placement of batteries has got a effect on this,so i am slowly but surely tuning it in.This is a character trait of a cat hull, and the only way to stop it would be to up the horsepower. That is the whole idea about it for me though, the process of fine tuning it while having fun!She made me swim once in the middle of winter, after she broke the plastic prop while gunning out of a turn with the new lipo's i just aquired. But,my point is to everyone who wants to start off with a good boat, this is something I will always recommend. The attachments is courtesy of my girlfriend, which while i play, she gets to practise her skills with her camera,so we both end up having fun and getting out for some fresh air.So we both score! If I will be following the forums to pick up some tips, and if I run into some information that will help other pilots enjoy their boat more,I will be sure to post it!IMG_5794.jpgIMG_5795.jpgIMG_5879.jpgIMG_5852.jpgIMG_5794.jpgIMG_5795.jpgIMG_5879.jpgIMG_5852.jpg
