Very nice job. If it had the regular canopy it would have been easy but, the canopy mod threw me.

How did you achieve that canopy and did you CF tape the inside and grind off the lip or what?

No grinding or CFing. Just a 1/8 bit of ply and some insulation foam. OK and a whole lot of sanding. Then three coats of epoxy: thinned 5minute, two ton epoxy then 20 minute finishing epoxy. The last one had no pock marks so I gave it a thin coat of primer then the red. I may carve out some underneath to reduce weight .
I also added a fixed strip at the back for easier taping. I roughed out the design and did most with the knife.
I can describe note if you want but that is the general idea.
