    Scratch Built Retrieval Boat

Here is a project that I have been working on for a rescue boat. I built it out of 1/16" Plywood and pool noodles. She has been assembled with West Systems Epoxy. I just finished sanding the epoxy and she is now ready for paint. Still need to make the pushrods but should have her done next week, I hope.

Yeah, I'm probably going a bit overboard (pun intended) for a retrieval craft. After I get her painted I'll fire up the vinyl cutter and start cutting out the windows and doors and anything else I can muster up. Even thought about making some life preservers for the sides. Lol

            I like that.
Do not forget you need a driver for it,
And some babes for floatation devices.

It's been awhile since I've updated the progress. Almost finished. Need to install an antenna mast and a water outlet and she should be good to go. Got a couple of lounge chairs coming for the deck too.

I did see it Lenny. Very cool. Looks fun. However, $1600 is way more than I would spend for a retrieval boat. For that kind of money I would just build another gasser. Lol

                      Yes it does look cool.
                      But for that price,
I want one that comes with some babes and nice floatation devices.

You should draw up plans for that, or sell it as a kit. I know guys who would be interested in buying something like that. It has a purpose and it is useful. Looks great.
Doesn't matter, real or RC, boats are just a hole in the water where you throw your cash.
