    Pursuit Miss Geico

OK, some here know from other posts- my 5 year old boy is in love with the Miss Geico. I got him the MG 17" and then ordered the 29" MG decals to put on my yellow BK bandit. Well, I ended up getting the MG 29 and had the decals sitting here, so I figured I'd see how it looks on the white Pursuit. Opinions? I know it is not correct buy my son loves it, so that's all that really matters .

    Looks nice,
What setup are you running in it ?
I have one to and running a 1800kv on 4s for testing how the boat runs and handles for the first time,
And boy I like this hull so far.
But I think I am looking to move up in kv soon.

Thank you. Mine is running a Feigao 540 12XL 1390 KV. The majority of the time I run it on 6S and it runs mid-upper 40's IIRC. I'll also run it on 8S for fun at times and it is ballistic on 8S!! I too love this hull. Handles very nicely at pretty much any speed and I have had it in some pretty rough water before (like 10-12" waves at the lake!!) as well and it handles it pretty well also.

Ok thank for the input on the handling at higher speeds,
Yes with the 1800kv I was getting 46 mph with a modded m447.
And that was the second time I had the boat out,
The first time I tried to run the boat after I got it from the seller with a 2200kv motor.
But I found out he sold it to me with the bad motor and bearings to,
And it was not trimmed out right at all and running wet.

May be that is why the motor and bearings were going bad.
        I may try a 4074 or 4082 2200kv in it,
But I have some outrunners that I may try to,
        Like the t600 1400kv.
I just never ran 6s in anything yet.

Sorry, just saw your reply now. I bought my boat off of one of the Chinese sellers on eBay several years ago and it was sold as a 3S setup with some high KV motor that was a horrible match for the boat. I figured I'd run it as long as possible but it was miserable, so I just ripped it out and tossed the 12XL and Etti ESC in it and haven't looked back. I have had some issues lately with it taking out ESC's, which is odd as the boat has been dead reliable for several years. From what I am being told, it is possible the Feigao finally bit the big one, so some changes are in it's future, just don't know what yet. I saw this video and it makes me really want to push it even harder though lol- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTU3r_r_BKI

            Hey thanks for the info,
And yes the Feigao motors tend to do that a lot.

Also thanks for the video of the skimming boat.
Back at you with this one,
But it is just running a little wet for my taste.

Hears one you may want to follow on hear,
I told him it is like putting a hemi in a 1970 vw bug.
Way over kill in the pursuit lehner 2250/9 1315kv on 8s.

Yeah, that boat looks to be running pretty wet. Might be happy with the handling like that, but mine carves the turns pretty hard with a lot less than that in the water. On 8S, I swear, I don't think there is much more than the stinger in the water at speed lmao. That one with the lehner seems right up my alley :D. Somebody recommended a Lehner for this boat, and I would love to get one, I just don't know if I can put that expensive of a motor in this hull. I don't know. That one is getting it pretty good on the Leopard on 8S, I just wonder if it still runs or how long it will last. That seems like a high KV and it is a cheap motor to be pushing 8S through like that!
