    1980 AMPS velden F1

This is the pride of my fleet , i had one many years ago and give it away its had a full overall ,
i removed the OPS nitro motor and converted the AMPS T4 outboard to 6s brushless i have managed to hide all the wires to the motor and i have fitted power trim to the outboard so i can raise and lower the leg on the move to set the trim

Could you post links to the parts you used for the power trim?

its mostly home made i will partly strip down and take some pics it works very well and not hard to make,
( you will need a good 2 1/2 turn winch servo , some threaded bar , two small UJ couplings ,)

JPS Catamaran project in Jersey ChannelIislands.

                            Hello madphil and gentlemen .
Here in Jersey Channel Islands Charlie Gallichan 80yrs(dad) has a similar velden F1 hull from the 1970's which was also nitro back then.

                            DSCF0806_zpsc019ae2c.jpg

After seeing your beautiful JPS up and running decided to take his down from the shelf and do the same as you have done.
He has now fitted the T4 AMPS outboard with a brushless Typhoon, 180amp esc, 6's lipo's and it still has the screw driven actuator built in. This weekend 30th June was the first test with the brushless power plant and unfortunately he managed to flip it on the second run. It is probably the fastest rc boat on the Island. Now we know the thing really fly's its time to get the paint job done just to finish her off. I am working on our website, jerseymodelboats.com and I am doing a thread on our fast electric forum if you want to have a nose. I will also be down loading the short clip from when it flipped.
Cheers all and we will keep you updated on the JPS prodject.
