It rips but its gotta be glass for a 32" boat like that do go top end on 4s. I like the setup because I can run it 3s and do around 58-60mph and be able to control it well, not just do high speed passes.Comment

my neu 1527 1Y its 1250kv ... i was told to start out with a 447/2 but i can go up to 457/3 and anything in between and i was told to use 2 s6 5000 65c 22.2v in what would it be series .....
An x457/3 may be too large for a 34" boat, it will stress the motor and cells and cause a lot of prop walk. Run time will be low too. I ran that motor and cell count in my 34.5" SprintCat and the largest prop I felt was safe for racing was an x455/2 detongued. I run the x455/3 in my 10S 41" cats. You could run an x447 or x450 for more reasonable speeds and longer run times. Going to 3S would be too slow, even 4S may only get you into the 40s depending on the prop. If you don't want to run 6S then 5S would work. But IMO that motor is really 'best' on 6S.

If you want to learn by spending lots of money on burned up ESCs then by all means start with that 10S prop. Just don't come back and whine about that lousy speed controller. At least only run for one minute and come back in to check temperatures. Keep checking each minute until you know the prop is safe.
