    Climate Models Blizzard rigger

First off I would like to thank those who have taken some time to help me out on this build. A big THANKS goes out to John- m4a1usr for a majority of the info.

    Motor: Leopard LBP3650 3900Kv
    ESC: Hobbywing 120A
    Batteries: Flightmax 2200ma 30C 3S
    Prop: X632 by m4a1usr

Im hoping before first run someone can comment on strut depth/angle. Strut depth is even with skis. Angle should have the boat flat.

I would definitely recommend another prop unless you want to toast your ESC and keep running the rigger at half-throttle.

Just ordered up a new battery. 4000ma 40C 3S so Im good upto 160A now. Motor is only rated to 86A, so I have plenty of buffer now.

OK, but is that not enough buffer?

I dont think I could shoehorn anything larger in this hull. As it stands right now Im looking for options on best way to put the esc in there. Just not enough room!

My maiden run resulted in the flex slipping inside the collet. Also the battery was to small.

So I came back to the pond with a Sky Lipo 4000 40C 3S. I also put some solder on the flex shaft.

Back in the water and slipped again. Tightened it up and still slip.. WTH?

Bring it in. Discovered that its not at the collet this time. My Loctite glue of the flex to shaft let go.

So now I gotta pull it apart and solder it in. Glad I got a torch now!
