Not the kinda of day you woould want!

This happened first time out this year. Think I missed something when doing my prep work.
(title should be: Not the kinda of day you wish on having!)

New boat? New prop? You should balance and sharpen the prop most are really bad balance and will cause much vibration, then you get broken struts like that. Or maybe you hit the turtle.

Ouch that sucks! It Must be a bad day for boating as mine went bad too! Sunk one boat (was able to recover later) and fried the connections to the ESC on another boat which I had to battle the wind in an rescue mission to get the boat back in. Fun day it was.....looks like yours was real fun too

For everyone eh,I snapped the sheer screw without knowing it and did a full throttle run across the lake. The Shocker doesn't stop too quick once going,it hit shore and flew 20 feet.Just some paint damage.Oh,and pride.

Flipped my old velineon swapped sea nymph at the pond today as well. Luckily the motor spins so fast upside down I was able to drive it in using the rudder and prop like a miniature airboat while it was upside down lol

Last night I started the repair process.... got the radio tray removed and flexshaft. It bent the prop shaft about 90 degress to the left and busted the strut bearing.
It sucks when stuff like this happens...but thats the nature of the hobby. Thanks for sharing some of your stories guys.
