Toysport Triton and Syncon at Kaiser Cove

Dad and son getting ready to run at Kaiser Cove in Fremont, CA.

Some might recognize the "Eat My Roost" Triton-- she has a new strut, is water tight, and runs great.
    Syncron was my first build.

How many people did we decide owned that boat? It has been all over the world, and still performing great and still also looks nice. I enjoyed it. Does it still have the carbon fiber tray I made for it?

        Sure does!
The original flex drive eventually broke, and I could not find a replacement w/bushing that fit right (maybe it was metric), so I rebuilt he driveline with a larger stinger strut, works great (just needed to slide in a new smaller OD brass tube inside the orginal brass tube--you can see that in the 2nd picture)
        Current config is:

CC1518 motor (1800kv), 4S2P, CChydra 240A ESC, x642 to x645 prop. The boat also works well on 5S2P with that motor/ESC. For the 4S2P/x642 combo my son gets 7-8min runtime no problem, everything cool as a cucumber. The hull is built like a tank!
