Hear is some SAW Sponsons. The biggest ones on the left are 16 inches over all. The new ones in the center is 13.3/4 long. The small one that is in Plastic is 9 inches long overall and Wilmer has gone 84MPH with the smallest of sponson in CF.

Great pictures Randy, thank you. I can't wait to see how it turns out with clear.
Are you running ride pads on the sponsons or does Wilmer? I'd love to see the ride surface if you're comfortable sharing.IMPBA: 7-Time FE World Record Holder "Don't think outside the box. Rather, refuse to admit that the box exists in the first place!"

Wilmer learned the ride pads from me, I am going to build a mold to add them on afterwards.
We should move this thread to a different spot so others can post too, I like the inter action.Comment

For those of you that noticed my bulletin board was down last week. Sorry for the down time guys, this is the note from the web master in charge.
Randy, it looks like the I.P. changed on the cable modem I have the website on. I had to update the domain I.P. Record. It will take up to a day for the DNS changes to take affect across the internet.
For you tech heads this will be something you all understand, for the rest of us we can just say OK!
On ward to work today! I ahve a lot of CF/FG work to do.
If any of you want to respond to this message go to the link below.

Indeed randy showed me how to set up a ride pad, and we've been collaborating and experimenting with it ever since.
I will post pics of my most successful ride pads.
These sponsons work WELL. Your boat will NOT blow over.Comment

Hi Chilly you do remind me of that little sailer boy Gilgan!
I am laying up the first tub for the 27 Lift Master SAW boat today. In the SAW sponson picture, in the center is my sponsons for that boat.Comment

I would like to say to am finishing another Lift Master SAW boat but as it seems to be the times I have one in process it is a full build and another behind it. I have several boats that are full builds it is good and bad. The good I like building them becuse I am able to refine the builds and make a better boat. The bad...... It takes a lot of time to build 10 or 15 different RTR boats at one time. Hear is 9 of the builds getting close to done.

Randy, let me know when things slow down a little. Meanwhile, I can't stop looking at that CF layup you did a few posts ago. Where's that smiley for slobber? HaIMPBA: 7-Time FE World Record Holder "Don't think outside the box. Rather, refuse to admit that the box exists in the first place!"
