    Ok lets talkhydro struts.

Every once in a while I have a customer looking to build a scale hydro. I've not built a scale hydro, so the strut is always the difficult part for me to help with. Can you guys share some strut installations and maybe a brief description of the reason why you chose the particular method?

I did a search of the forum and found a couple of old pictures, but looking for better ones.

not a big Hydro guy but I know there might be rules on strut location , if a scale class , also I recommend a flat bottom strut to help hole the azz up

I tried to find you a few pics, I usually use flat bottom struts as well, in Namba the tail end of the strut should be even with the transom.
A couple of my boats use struts with longer tail pieces so the strut is mounted more forward.
