Electric 52inch Lauterbach hydro - motor selection

A friend went through some pretty severe spring cleaning and gave me his 70% complete Blazer Marine Lauterbach kit.
I won?t be racing anyone but still want to get her up to 60s.

I?m looking for good 10-12s motor recommendations.
I am sure a Castle 2028 would do it,
but wonder if a lehner 2280/11 673kv on 10-12S would be enough?

Stick with a bigger format motor. That 2280 from Blake is going to be stressed pushing that large of a boat in the 60's. You will want to run props similar to what gas guys are running so target the kv accordingly.
A Castle 2028 or TP 56 series motor are safer reliable options.

My TP5690 680kv on 12s is a monster. It?ll swing a 2515-17* with no issues. It?s a hard motor to find, though it?s the same motor as the TP5870. The difference being a smooth can (5690) vs the finned (5870).
