    Motor Rotation 1/10 Scale Hydro

When I ran 1/8 Scale nitro we ran with left rotation when looking at prop from transom. Do 1/10 scale FE guys do the same thing?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

They turn left and use right hand props

Offshore Electric has both flex shafts and props needed for 1/10th scale.

Question?, if the brushless motors can rotate left or right and there are more prop options for left rotation, why wouldn't I run left hand?

There used to be only a couple of RH props that would work but there are now quite a few to choose from. When the 1/10th scale first started in Seattle it was a bunch of Hydro Geeks that wanted to mimic the real Unlimited's and they turn left.

If you want to run with the 10th class and turn left. You want a right hand prop.
If you run a left hand prop, you boat will not like it (very hard to turn left when spinning a left hand prop.
The prop walk helps the boat turn.
