Hi guys,
I just wanted introduce myself. My name is Mike McKnight. Robert Holland, NAMBA President, has appointed me as the new NAMBA Scale Chairman. This is my second time in this position as I held it once in 2006-08. Unfortunately I was also the District Director for NAMBA District 9 and a CD for a Nationals in 2007 as well. I didn't have as much time to devote to the position as I would have liked. Now this is all I am doing. Scale is what brought me into RC Boating. I did it once in the early 80's. At that time I was also racing full sized outboards. My first priority is to update the NAMBA MHR for 1/8 scale and Gas. But I have also become well versed in the rules for FE in both 1/8 scale and 1/10 scale. Those that know me know I am a scale nut and I do not shy away from doing the detective work to solve a problem. If you need help or advice with anything please feel free to give me a holler. My email is [email protected] or you can call me at 209-327-2842. Email usually works better as I am not always able to grab the phone. I look forward to being a resource and will help in any way I can. Thanks much!
