Nope. That's only IMPBA 1:8 scale. I don't think they do 1:10 in IMPBA. I doubt we'll ever get enough to worry about it.

We will have multiple years of the Oberto though.

Let's see if they show up first.

So, IF there is no formal "Rule Book" could I build a 1/10th hull and paint it as I see fit (keeping it in the "spirit") of the real hydros?

Depending on the club you have to run a minimum number of races to hold your boat registration. I think you can pay a fine to keep your boat registered if you can't make the 4 os races.

Not to sound too pessimistic but we've been threatening to run scales since they hit the rule book. We've yet to see 3 show up. Let's get them in the water and see if we can turn some laps. I don't care if there are 6 budweiser hull.

Yes, they have some differences between Modern and Vintage(turn fin for example). There's a section in the NAMBA rule book on 1/10th scales..

We started running 10th scale a few years ago in sw fla and the spring shoot out by the wave blasters. Got about 6 boats now and are a blast to drive after u get them set up

Each club can put there own motor rules for each class we use the 1500 for both classes but thinking about 1800 for moderns

Some 1/10 Scale NAMBA boats are built so accurately to scale that you can actually hear the driver fart : (listen at 0:37)
