I have to agree w/ Tyler and Fluid the 1527/1.5y on 10S is the best combo, and the current national champion setup. I've been running this setup in my scales for 6+ years and they are flawless and with the newer batteries we are going faster and faster. Doug Twaits scale at the nats this year was probably the fastest scale boat I've ever seen.

Evening gents, I just bought a 1/8 Exceed gas hydro hull that I plan to put brushless. I see where someone said a Castle 2028 would be an ok motor for this hull. Is that correct? Also should I upgrade the hardware or can I get away using the hardware that comes on the gas hydros? Thanks!!!
