1/8 Scale hydroplane turn left set up

    Hello,

I was wanting to set up a 1/8 scale hydroplane to turn left and wanted a reliable setup that I can count on so I don't need to break any speed records plus this is not to race in any club. I need help with esc, motor, right hand prop suggestions. I also was going to use 8s setup or any other input would help thanks for looking.

To be clear, you want to run counterclockwise ovals, right? What hull do you have? What are your speed and run time goals? What is your budget?

Correct I'm going to run counterclockwise and was going to order rc boat company hull T-6. I wanted a little more run time than speed (45mph to 50mph) and budget is open. Thanks for replying

Something to think about is finding a turn fin that is cuped on the right side and you may have to reshape the bottoms of the sponsons to get the boat to slide in turns unless the company will mold the hull for counter clockwise running.

Dont know if a single pack will fit in your boat. My guess is two would work better for weight distribution
