I think FighterCat57 sells them now.... 2200kv that is.
Would this be a direct replacement motor?

OK Special Offer, just so happens I have an open order with the factory and can add more to it but only today and possibly tomorrow. It will take a week or so for them to come in.
This should be a good way to test the paypal cart feature.
Here's where to order:
PM or email me with any issues. There's also a contact on the link.

In terms of fitting the p1 motor clamp I don't think the typhoon will fit because it doesn't have the lip a the bottom for the motor to clamp in.Comment

I know their completely different in terms of outer body shape & different cooling fan but was asking in general are these 2 ranges of motors different internally or are they basically the same motors that can both be used in boats. As i use the smaller size outrunner motors in some boats & have a Turnigy Typhoon 2218H motor but was also looking at the red anodised motors & was interested in what the difference was between the 2 ranges. It really needs some one that uses/ sells both range of these motors to know the differencecs in these motors though. Martin.Comment

The Typhoon's are stamped casings and have 16 gauge lead wires, rated for 22 amps. The Turnigy 3126 is a Suppo Model motor rated at 1500 watts. A much better motor at a far less cost. I've owned them both and the Suppo is hands down a better built motor. HK has them in 1600/1300 and I have them in 2200kv/Black casing.FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. I'm in the UK also. Get them from hobbyking's german warehouse. They only do the 1300kv and 1600kv though.Comment

Is it straight foward registering with Hobbyking & are the reliable, Do you actually have to go into their German warehouse when you buy or will it automatically take you their if your in Europe. Martin.Comment

Yep no probs with hobbyking, also you can use paypal. When I ordered my motor they were out of stock in the german warehouse so I ordered it from the one in china, took about 2 weeks. When you look at stuff on their website it will say DE warehouse, that means it's from Germany. Hope this helps, plus they have a good price on lipos.Last edited by jamespl; 12-27-2010, 12:19 PM.Comment

The 1300kv & 1600kv that they list in Germany are the 500 series motors, The ones im interested in are the smaller 450 series 3200kv-3500kv to which it looks like they dont have stock in Germany. So it looks like its off to Ebay Germany or USA . Martin.Comment

They have the 450 versions. It will most certainly be cheaper from hobbyking you will just have to wait longer for it.

I couldn't be bothered to wait for them to get stock in the german warehouse, shipping was about $13 so only around £8-£9 with the exchange rateComment
