Esc timing?

I have just got a hobbywing seaking 90amp esc as the origional died, prob from getting wet. Anyway I was wondering what timing you guys would recommend? I was going to set it at 15deg but the instructions say 11.25deg on 4s. Also if I didn't know better I would swear that the venom one is a rebadged seaking, they look identical and the programming is the same, only venom charge a lot more fo theirs!

Correct! The venom esc is a turnigy/seaking. I would stick with the factory timing of 11.25. Too much timing will increase heat and not necessarily increase performance.

Ok will do thanks. Glad I went for the seaking, venom want nearly twice the price and never have any stock anyway!
