What did you upgrade your servo to?

I'm considering upgrading the servo and wanted some input on what to go with. I'm leaning towards Savox or Hitec.

    Any recommendations?

    Thx

Savox Waterproof. Got em in my Erevo and a couple boats. All good so far.

I have had terrible luck with Hitec.

Okay thanks for the heads up. What is a good model too get? I know some have metal gears and ball bearings. Is it straight plug and play or do you have to make some mods to get them to fit in?

The metal gear one is the one I have been using. It is this one http://www.savoxusa.com/Savox_SW0231...avsw0231mg.htm
It is a bit taller than most.
Though this one could work as well http://www.savoxusa.com/Savox_SW0230...avsw0230mg.htm

I just stuck a TRX 2075 in there after my 2056 started "the twitch". After I put in the 2075 I was experiencing some weird issues with radio loss at a certain distance that was good before. I got a RX capacitor from Kintec, put some plasti-dip and every thing worked again.
Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!

I agree with the 2075. The Traxxas ones work fine for this application. The boat really just does not need the extra torque. But if you had to get an aftermarket one I would get the Savox. I have the blue waterproof one in my Shocker and it works great.
