I tried adjusting the strut it but it still has it... I don't want to snap the shaft. Works great on glass but once at full speed on anything more than glass it rolls! lol
New lipos should be here today, then I gotta send em' to get soldered.

I have no godly idea what I hit, I should have not been running anyways---We had a LOT of rain which washed debris all over the place but I couldn't help myself since there was 0 wind!!! lol, I have learned not to play in "debris filled water"! I will wonder what I hit but I will never know!

Yeah I was wondering what I hit it put 2 weird nicks at the base of the prop tongue. I would love to know what I hit to get that strange mark. I hit sticks and pieces of wood all the time in the river lol. I hate it when it screws up my strut position. Have you had any luck with rc boat bits? and if you don't like those you could try these http://www.ebay.com/itm/ST-5731-Trax...item1c34620c4a

Well when the lawn crews mow the "slum-plex" down the canal they just throw all the grass in the water which also includes dog doodo and trash.... I have asked Water Patrol to inform them of what they are doing, we will see! I know Water Patrol very well so I think the issue will be resolved! lol. My tabs from RC Boat Blitz (RCBB) are officially in the U.S., I predict they will be at the PO Thursday and of course I have to go back Friday to get them since they are requiring a signature (which is understandable but annoying!) My SPC lipos should be back to me Monday! I think my boat will run wet now since it is not carrying giant 5s lipos< the S is there because mine are in parallel....

Ok they came in today... I don't think I will be spending much money at RCBB. I had a lot of trouble getting these lined up, they still won't line up. They have a bit of play from side to side, they are NOT flush with the hull bottom, they were a pain but do look cool. Fellas, I wouldn't get these if I could do it over again. The company made good on there mistake and then maybe I got one that was made 6 minutes before quitin' time... I wish they could have been better, I will see how they perform. Oh, I had to do some filing on the screws to get them to fit at the right length since holes were not drilled all the way in the mounting parts.

                    Here is the least pic:

Bottom line, they are for looks IMO. Then again I have not ran with them yet....
My reccomendation here: Just stick with the stock and ad adjusters. You can go quad tabs if you want the boat ride a tiny better.

You are right, they look great!

Trim tabs are supposed to be mounted a bit above flush with the hull, although in the picture it looks like these new tabs may mount a bit higher than the OEM tabs.

Hope they work out for you.

                      Kevin

My car budget is 4k, I tried to tell them that prices have gone up since the 80's!!! lol New job interview tomorrow so I can't play with the Spartan in the morning :) and !

Trying not to! At the job, let's just say I am already working :). On my break at the moment

Sorry fellas, I got an email today.... I no longer have the Spartan, it hurts but I will get a "better" boat. Hopefully the fella (Randy) I sold it to will join here so WE can help. I still have all my lipos (couldn't sell brand new lipos) and chargers. Oh, new job went nice today. I am working at the Dog Kennel, $8 and hour and "up to" 3 hour lunches on top of a 15 min break! When and if he joins don't be hard, he does not understand rc boat since he came from Land nitro RC. Thanks for all you helps guys, I will stick around from time to time. PowerDemon, as weird as this sounds I don't miss it too much... I sold for $350 with TX and a few parts.

Sorry to hear another Spartan / RC boat fan has bit the dust.
I understand though, that is why I got out of RC many years ago, life just demanded that limited funds be dedicated to other necessities.
Good luck with new job, and hopefully you can get back into RC boats in the not too distant future.
