    Spartan Stock motor burning

    Hi everyone,
    could anybody tell me if someone burned the stock Spartan motor.
    With esc 180 amp, is it possible to run the boat on 6s with Castle 1800kv stock motor?

      Yes it is very possible to run the boat on 6s. I have ran 25+ packs of 6s on my boat with stock motor and ESC. Before I ran the first pack of 6s I changed the rudder to a dual pickup and changed out all of the cooling lines to bigger I.D. to flow more water. The hottest I've been able to get the motor is 110 degrees F. The ESC has gotten up to the upper 120's. The only problems I've had with the boat is breaking the stock propellers and stripping the gears off in the steering servo (hard airborne crash with a big rudder). Do the proper mods to keep it cool and hammer down some 6s power!

              kintec 5 in dual pickup rudder is the best imo.
