Spartan issues

I got a Traxxas Spartan a month ago and have only gotten to drive it due to technical difficulties. I was having bad side to side wobble so decided to adjust the trim tabs downwards(towards water). Also, the prop angle adjuster seemed to have shifted downwards which, I thought, caused the next issue: prop stress cracks (no more than 3 minutes of run on new stock prop. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

Oh yea, I dropped one of my thunder power 3s in the lake... Should I: a) rent scooba equip for warranty with thunder or b) tell thunder I dropped it in?

I had to go out and buy an e revo because I was constantly annoyed with the Spartan thusfar :/

As long as its the newer hull it should run pretty good - keep in mind if your goal is to hit top speeds and run full throttle you will get frustrated. I like bashing around in the ocean with my Spartan, but they just don't run great at full throttle with out lots of time and tuning. As for your set up I found a good starting point is level strut (prop angle adjuster you called it) or even just slightly up, put the boat on a flat surface to eyeball/measure it. about 1mm down on the trim tabs done using a ruler and batteries just past halfway in the tray towards the back.

As for your battery - they will laugh at you if you tell them you want your battery warranties because you dropped it. If its fresh water and you can get it it might still be fine, if its salt water its dead. Either way it sounds like you are buying a new battery.

I dont understand the battery issue. Did you recover the battery? If so, let it dry out. Put it in a bag of rice for a week then try charging it. If you did not recover it, then that's your fault and thunder power isn't gonna do anything for you. For that matter, either way, it's not thunders problem if you lost or destroyed a pack.

As biker stated, saltwater kills them, freshwater is no biggie. I've had my lipos underwater many times without issue. I run lipos in my summit, and drive that sucker underwater all the time.
