    Transporting The Boat

I am looking for suggenstions/solutions for transporting my Traxxas Spartan boat to and from the cottage, as well as to and from the water. (I would prefer not to use the original packaging.)

Pictures of your setup would be very much appreciated.

Look on venoms website. They have a boat bag that's pretty nice. I believe kintecracing.com has them as well.

For that matter, I've got one I've never used that I'd sell.

I make wooden stands for my boats that hide the prop just in case it turns on.

When I get back in town I'll get you a price. It's never been used as I have a pond close by.

                  Transporting The Boat

Well I just have to post my Memorial Day Project--- I needed a stand for my Spartan and the Kintec Racing Carbon Stand was not holding up. I figure if I am using pipe water can run throughout it:) I have come to the conclusion that's it near useless but hey it sorta works and has a cool feature!

It has been painted black, foam padding, ropes with handles added, and some small adjusting.

I will get an updated picture later---:)

Updated pictures! Keep in mind I still do wash the Spartan, this just helps with the Salt I run in. :) Now, I realize that this is "funny" and that was the intent, so giggle away!

Had 1 run so far today, flipped TWICE... Once was my fault, the other was the dead fish's fault! Luckily I flipped close enough to the dock. Neighbors are tickled at my water feature!

EDIT: One little stream misses the boat but oh well! Had another nice run, very nice---Wish I had a video or pictures but little Bro broke his leg so he can't demand money to watch my boat...lol My telemetry did act funny though, the temp gauge read 153 at the start, then stuck on 148, then stuck on 138... Guess it got wet! Hopefully it stops raining, or I could just use an umbrella!.

I use the Nylon Carry bag from Kintec Racing with the Carbon Fiber Carry Stand in the nylon case. The stand also comes with rope that you can carry the boat with.

I have thought of that but after two of those stands from Kintec I am not happy with them, they are a great alternative but they scratch what they sit on and are less stable. The stand's ropes are also too thin with the boat is loaded, I can even strap this to the back of our 1:1 without much worry.

Since you went to the trouble of adding water why not add a nipple and cooling to the stand so you can back flush from the water inlet or outlet

That is a good idea. I thought of it too, I may do it but I am lacking motivation due to the water color outside... It has rained a bit and the lake has turned brown, Chocolate Shake brown with debris... To top that I have dead fish floatin' down from Kemah so I probably won't be boating until after this weekend. I will look around on OSE and see what I can pull up. Thanks for the suggestion, I will most likely use it.
