Ran my Spartan this weekend a little bit, it's only had about 5 or 6 runs on the new Castle upgraded electronics, only 2 of those runs were on Lipo's (4S). Out of the clear blue the steering servo reversed on me, i had to re-program it back to the correct movement, that caught my attention and almost ended with a wrecked boat. Also, the throttle will blip with out me even touching the transmitter. I monkyed with the throttle trim, thinking that might be the issue, but it still does it no matter where i set the trim. I'm not sure if the ESC is going bad, or maybe the reciever? The boat has not been flipped or taken on any substantial water, the electronics are dry. Heres a short video of whats going on, again the throttle is blipping and i'm not touching the transmitter, any ideas?
Think my Castle ESC might be giving up, or maybe radio?? (video)

I'm not sure now if it is the radio or not. I've been running the boat quite a bit and it was running great! I said "was" because last night I freshly charged batteries and when I plugged them in the ESC just blinked/beeped and wouldn't arm. Steering worked but no throttle. So I went back and reprogramed the ESC for sport mode with out LVC as I'm running nimh's. Put it in the water and it would only putter off plane, like it hit the LVC, so I reprogrammed it again with the same results. I noticed the ESC led will blink on and off by itself randomly with out touching the transmitter, like it's a loose connection if you will. Also throttle still blips all by itself. Will the traxxas/castle ESC work with a tactic radio/receiver? I might try that before I get another ESC.Comment
