I dont wanna sound dumb but I got the spartan In a trade. I have no clue what after market parts I can put on here. Like motors, esc, props drive lines nothing I have been looking but nothing says its for the spartan. I just dont wanna buy stuff then it dont fit and I am out of money

Motors - 36 and 40 diameter cans will all bolt in directly, you want a minimum of 74mm can length. If using the stock ESC stay with stock motor or go to lower kv not higher. Some have also used Castle 1515 and 1717 motors with upgraded ESC's. The 1717 is a tight fit with cooling jacket installed, but it does bolt in. The leopard 4082 1600kv motor has been popular as have Leopard/Tacon 3674 1700kv motors among many others. Lots of threads here and on other forum sites on Spartan upgrades. Try some searches.
ESC - The most common ESC upgrade is the Seaking / Turnigy 180 amp marine ESC. It has proven reliable on up to 6S on motors up to about 1800kv with props sized appropriately to the kv of the motor. Some have installed the Castle Hydra 240 amp ESC among others.
Props - Lots of selection available. On stock setup stay with prather 215 or Octura X442 anything larger will drastically increase the risk of frying the electrics. On beefier lower kv motors like the Leopard 4082 1600kv with 180 ESC guys have successfully spun up to an octura X645. Larger props do create more torque roll.
E-bay has a bunch of other aftermarket stuff like dual pick up rudders and splash guards, etc.
OSE, Kintec Racing, RCraceboats, and other online retailers have spartan specific, or generic parts that fit the Spartan as well as other boats.
