Caslte system Spartan on 4S, runs pretty good!

I had my Spartan out for it's first run of the season and since i had issues with my Daytona cat, it gave me a chance to tweak the Spartan a little bit. I've never run Lipo's before now, what a difference!! Definatly more speed than the NiMh's, better run time too. Lipo's are 2 2s Turnigy 40-50c 5000mah packs. I don't have any GPS reading's to go by, but i'm pretty happy with the speed. First i ran with an Octura X442, ran good, then i switched to a TFL 443 with slightly more pitch than the X442, i think it was slightly faster. All electronic temps were luke warm at best, batteries were a little warmer but not hot, so maybe even more prop is possible? One thing it did do was torque roll something terrible, i did adjust the tabs and the strut which helped alot. The strut i set slightly positive, seemed the hull really like that! Here's 2 short video clips from this weekend!!

    Running good
Should be a very solid setup on 4S.

I think you should go ahead and run 5s. more speed and just over all a funner time I run 6 and 5s... always solid with 5s and when I do run 6s i always have some driveshaft issues... Good luck with your spartan... Its a great and fun boat!

Forget speed if stock stay on 5s at the most and enjoy.
