    Bud Spartan finally done

Four coats of red over two coats of primer. All finished up with five coats of clear with a wet sand between all 11 coats!. Finish is like glass and really gleams in the sun. Windshield is simply a hand-trimmed piece of black vinyl with silver pinstripe tape. Project took a month, but the results are clearly evident!

The Bud Spartan has been wet twice this weekend. Gleams in the sun. I also have her sister boat, the Bud Mystic 29. Also have this cool rescue rig I built.

Blue gear looked terrible, so I de-anodized with $3 worth of Greased Lightning! (And the Mystic 29 now has a black cooling tube instead of the yellow.)

Stock electrics, and the polished P215 prop. Plenty fast for now . . . but, we'll see! I got the Mystic 29 REALLY hauling butt with a 4074 2200kv and a 445 prop.

If you are referring to the "platform" on the back of the boat, it is a splash guard. It is supposed to help stop water from getting in through the vent holes if you use reverse.

                          They are available on eBay.
