Should i run the traxxas Teflon liner with a wire drive? I have a .187 flex drive on my other Spartan , and I'm not running one i'n that.... But i wasn't sure if i should with a wire drive setup... Thanks i'n advance....

Sure...use the stock liner...it has plenty of room but will keep the wire a bit cooler and quiet. -

Yup, I just got my wire drive from Jeff the other day and I run it with the stock liner, I put 2 runs on it and after the second one I pulled it out, and there was still some grease left, and it wasn't all black and nasty like on the stock one.Comment

I like to sand the wire with some 320 and then use some metal polish on them...very smooth and resists rust much betterComment

Sounds good I'll have to try that ... Still waiting for my bare hull to come off backorder.... This waiting is killing me.... I guess I'll just run my other Spartan for now while i wait lol... just came back from being at my lake house for a week. probably burned through6 packs on 6s checked the wire drive and still had the marine grease all over it. from what ive seen and read this is a must have, very nice job jeff!!Comment
