Was it the castle esc? What prop and batteries were you running?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a 642 prop big for tht setup? (no sarcasm) serious question.... Still somewhat new to prop ratings from different manufactures , im used to , octura 440's or 447's lol.... Thanks for any info ...

Yes i thought it was big but i figured if i took it easy and watched my temps i would be ok not really sure if it was drawing to many amps but it never got hot and when it blew it was only out for seconds i dont get it the first motor did the same thing but it was all stock then i added another water pickup and outlet i took the stock nylon tube out so i dont know guess we will see how it goes i am going to sell it for sure this time get a castle setup i run that in my buggy and truggy and have never had a problem

The 642 is a good step up from the stock prop, but not a huge difference 9same diameter and 8mm more pitch). I would say it is a good choice as a step up.

Without knowing the specs on the new components, it is hard to speculate whether or not your system was overloaded and caused the failure.

I wish they would say what the kv is on the motor I saw the post on here where the guy had got his motor back and it said castle on the motor cap and also said it was a 1800kv motor who knows I sent them the try this time so I hope they can work it out last time it took them about 13 days to get it back to me hope I don't have to wait that long we will see
