First time running the boat on 4 3s 6500 45c Thunder Power batteries in series and parallel with mod motor and esc. The boat ran for 37 minutes before low voltage shutdown.
How did it ride with 4 batteries? Was the boat more stable with the extra weight? Did you get a speed reading to see how the weight effected the top end? Regardless that's a phenomenal runtime.
The boat was more stable with the 4 batteries and it was lower in the water near the transom due to the weight, we had the batteries as far back as possible, I didn't have a gps in it at the time but it still was running strong. Were running a CC 1520 1600 kv motor. Like I said earlier I will run the boat later today and update the results.
It can't be running too fast with just 400 watts of power. But that is just the average, how much of that time was full throttle? If there was much part throttle running the ESC must have gotten warm - part throttle is very hard on speed controllers. Regardless that's great run time!

Ran the boat again this afternoon, 31minutes run time with the 6500 Thunder Power Batteries. Sorry yesterdays run was with the 7700 mah Thunder Power batteries. Temps for the motor was 97 degrees, the ESC was 118 degrees and the batteries were101 degrees. My GPS quit working so I need to buy a new one but there seems to be very little loss of top speed with the 4 batteries. We don't run the boat with WOT alot as my son is learning how to drive it, I would say WOT about 10% of the time and the rest is a very fast cruise except in the corners.
