Will this melt a mini V? (mini v on lipo)

I am thinking of picking up a mini V to rip around the storm pond, will these batteries light it on fire? What can the stock esc handle?

This battery will not melt the Mini-v , but it won't fit in it either. It is just too long. I have been using 3s 1000mah and 1300mah 22c Desire power in mine & they are just fitting. I have not had any problem with the esc running these batteries on it. I did however added a cooling through the heat sink. This dropped the temp 10 deg F and has never felt hot since, just warm. I queried Horizon Hobby about the max amps for this esc and they replied 10 amps. I have tried different motors & larger props on my mini v and so I know that the amps are close if not a little higher than 10. You'll also want to put water cooling coil on the motor and waterproof the esc/rx because you will probably flip it runnig it on 3s.

Here's a couple of pics of my esc & water cooling.

Glad that it helped. The dimensions for the 1300mah batt are (+- .5mm)H - 21.0, W - 34.0, L - 73. I have also ran a 9.9v 1100mah 30c Life Battery and it's dimmensions are 70L X 57W X 20H. You also might look at some of the other posts in the other threads on this forum as there are some other very good & useful mods that others have done to their Mini-Vs. When you do get one you can always ask more questions too if you have any.

You need the 1300 or 1350 3s packs from hobby city, the 30c ones are great
