    Impulse 31 leaking water

    Hi,
I'm pretty new to the RC world. I have the Impulse 31 and took it out for the first time for about 35 mins, brought it into shore and opened it up and it had some water in the hull. I checked everything and can't figure out where it is leaking. I've heard that the top cap could leak but i've put the clear flexible tape around it so any help would be awesome.

Might be leaking around the stuffing tube/wet well. Put it in the bathtub with lid off to check

I did that and it wasn't leaking, but I also just found a soft plastic tube could that be it? If it is where does it go. What is the stuffing tube?

Stuffing tube is the brass tube that your flex shaft goes thru

                I dunno what's broken.
I assume the tube you're talking about is the Teflon liner.
You haven't diagnosed a problem, so what needs to be fixed?

Look in the middle back of the boat. The brass tube with the liner will be just short of connecting to the motor.

If you can show us a pick we might be able to help with the unhooked tube? If its not obvious look at the side of the boat where the water outlet is.. It may have come off? Many of us use zip ties on all our water connections to help avoid the tubes from coming off.

The little tube you are referring to that came.with the boat goes around the battery hold down threaded shaft. I think it's supposed to protect the sides of the batteries from chafing when installed. It took me a while to figure that out since the instructions proboat gives you are minimal at best.
