Impulse 31 stock esc

I am a little confused, the booklet for the 60amp esc says that it is preprogrammed from the factory for Ni-Mh batterries. But the proboat website says it has reprogrammed for Lipos. So whats the true story, i have been running lipos in my boat, havent had a problem, but is that cause i am lucky. Or is it really preprogrammed for lipos. Thanks for any help

it should be lipo, I would buy the program card, then for sure you know, you can also do other stuff to.

Thanks, i did order the programmer from OSE. I had to make sure, it was buggin me, my new batterries were off a little so wasnt sure.
