    Impulse 31 esc programming

I cannot get this thing off of "soft timing" mode. I went through the programming process to get the "double beeps" but it doesn't seem to change. There is no way this thing is this slow. My venom P1 was faster on stock 3s than this is on 4s. It has to be on soft timing. Probably less than 30mph right now.

The Stock Impulse 31 (bone stock), on decent Lipos, out of the box, is good for around 32-33mph.

The stock prop is VERY conservative... Adjusting the timing will help a little, but if you want to get that thing ripping, you'll have to change props.

If you are running less than premium batteries, you'll have issues as well.

Make sure the shaft is lubed and aligned properly and spins freely as well.

The boat is likely setup pretty "wet" out of the box as well, but this may be a good thing if you get a real prop on there. Lots of threads here with prop recommendations, so I'll leave that to you to sort out.

I just think it's on soft timing. I remember having the same issue when I bought a blackjack 26. Can't get it to hard timing. It's definitely not as fast as the stock vids by proboat.
