Can I run 4S batteries on a stock boat?

If you setup your esc to run packs parallel as lenny stated, then yes you can run 2 4s packs. I have done this and felt the boat was just to heavy and I really didnt like how it performed (just my 2 cents). I like running 4s (2 2s) because you still get a decent run time 10 min (5000 mah pack) and it gives you time to check temps when you bring the boat in to change batteries.

After doing a little more research, I've decided to stay with the 2 2s packs. My charger will handle up to 3s packs only (onyx 245). I'm going to start trying out some props.
