On my first gps run on my new impulse the results were 33mph.
I am using a x645 prop s/b and some 20c lipos 2s x 2, these are 8000 mhp with a long run time of about 15 min.
I know this speed is not great but it was a blast to drive, turns on a dime and was totaly
dry when done.
rooster tail was flat and long and the strut setting was at a neutral or relaxed setting.
how do you guys set up your strut?
I know on the ul-1 how to measure it but on a mono what do you look for to get the best set up?
I feel I got the trim tabs set as there is no chine walk or no bouncing at speed.
I got new batterys on the way 2s1p 5000 40c-50c and I know these will get me into the high 30s to low 40s on 4s.
also have some 120 esc on the way so I can run 5s safely and some times push 6s.
all an all i'm pleased with this boat, it's a blast.
