Wondering if I can reinforce with CF???

Short story shorter.....I have two hulls. First hull is RTR Impules31 stock except for x445 prop and it has me hooked! Second hull was a replacement for first(but I managed to fix problem) and I would like to try to do something else with this hull. I love building my trucks so I am excited to try a couple things with this hull. I would like to CF the inside of the hull to reinforce( and look cool ) I have been doing a lot of reading and what I want to know is.......should I cut out all the wood bracing and then lay the CF? I am wanting to go with a 6cell set up on this one and I would also like to try my hand at painting with this one too and have been doing some reading on that also. So is it a mistake to try to mod this hull or would this be a good idea for me wanting to learn to build but not starting at "from scratch)? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

CF is cool and yes it would reinforce the hull. I've have never done it myself but others will chime in and will deffinlety approve.

All right! Well I am going to take the initiative and I just ordered a CF kit and started cutting out the wood bracing out of the hull.I am at work so I had to stop because of the dust and I want to use a mask so I am not breathing it in. I would like to post pics of what I am doing and don't know if this belongs in the build section or here so please if it needs to be moved at any point just let me know but here are some pics of what I am starting with.....Please remember I am a noob (w/ FE boats) so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

This is the hull stripped down and I am going to cut out wood. I plan on leaving stuffing tube box and possibly motor mount but haven't decided on that yet.

I do like the battery tray in this boat, are you going to leave it in or gut it out also?
