Any Immediate Upgrades???

I finally ordered a Impulse 31 after drooling over one for months. I hope to get a run or two in before my local lakes get iced over for the Winter!!!

Is there any upgrades I should do off the bat???

Not much. Maybe trim tabs. Other than that first thing to do is align the cable to the coupler. The cable should slide into the coupler hole without any guidance and then slide all the way into the coupler without any effort. If you don't do this, you will have a cable fail quickly.

5.5 mm bullet connectors all around

Thanks for the info. I already purchased adjustable trim tabs. So I replace all of the heavy gauge wire connectors with 5.5 bullets, huh?? Great tip. Surprised it doesn't come that way from the factory.

I did everything....batteries,esc and motor and running mine stock except for a octura x445 prop on 2-2s1p 5000mah 40c turnigy packs and the only thing that even gets warm is the connectors between batts/esc Motor and esc stay cool like a popsicle!
